Not any different

my  /opt/ltsp/i386/etc/lts.conf is directly installed by
# ltsp-build-client --arch i386
 
I did not change anything.

Then I replaced /opt/ltsp/i386/etc/lts.conf with a working one from
squeeze, ran 
# ltsp-update-image /opt/ltsp/i386  
with the same result: no ldm-login-screen, only login screens on
consoles tty1-6, 
but impossible to login ...
