Thank you very much for the suggestion, I'll give it a shot. BTW, I also tried running the command
ltsp-build-client without any --arch specified but it had the same errors. During the installation tests I also tried to remove the __db.0001, __db.0002, __db.0003 and __db_0004 with rm /var/lib/rpm/__db* whenever they appeared, as some web pages suggested in regard to the db3 errors in the root.log.
