As you found out, you have to also take a kernel trace at the same time
as your UST trace to have the kernel-level information to populate some
of the views. You can open both simultaneously in the same LTTV
traceset.

I'm glad it works out for you. Pierre-Marc and I will investigate what
happened on your Redhat system that required to specify the i686
architecture.
