Yes, often it's quite pointless and would effectively double your work load ;).

 I've found my opinion changing (fair to say that it is an 'unstable'
opinion) - good to get off-line docs, everything packaged nicely, but
then if there's a reasonable online option (plus release files) then
why not just ship the relevant stuff?

In this case, I'm tending towards small and focussed to make it easier
for Penlight to be used as a dependency.
