Thanks for creating the rock and adding it to the repository. Out of
curiosity I tried to install the rock and it failed as follows:

peter@laptop> luarocks install lua-apr
Installing http://luarocks.org/repositories/rocks/lua-apr-0.18-2.src.rock...
Archive:
/tmp/luarocks_luarocks-rock-lua-apr-0.18-2-9257/lua-apr-0.18-2.src.rock
  inflating: lua-apr-0.18-2.rockspec
 extracting: lua-apr-0.18-2.zip

Error: Could not find expected file apr-1/apu.h for APU -- you may have
to install APU in your system and/or set the APU_DIR variable

I compared the rockspec I submitted to the rockspec in the *.rock file
and it appears that the values in external_dependencies.platforms.unix
were replaced with values from external_dependencies.platforms.macosx.
Did you do that on purpose? Because it breaks Debian/Ubuntu installs...
