You mean like 'subplatform'? It's do-able, but Hisham is understandably reluctant to go into that level of OS detection. One solution is something I proposed some time back - that you provide a _table_ of possible directories to be searched for an external dependency. Otherwise, maybe it can be done by modifying the local config?
