Hello all,
I would like to submit a single script I packed as a rock according to
the guidelines here: http://www.luarocks.org/en/Creating_a_rock. The
module parses CLI arguments passed to a Lua program in a flexible and
hassle-free manner (something similar to what optparser is for Ruby).
Regarding its stability and maturity, it's a really simple script and
I've been using it in 3 different applications for some time now without
a problem. I thought it would be a handy addition because there doesn't
seem to be a similar solution for Lua that I found.
The project is hosted on GitHub at
https://github.com/amireh/lua_cliargs. I've created a tarball of the
source named after the convention specified in the guide above and you
can get it at
https://github.com/downloads/amireh/lua_cliargs/lua_cliargs-1.0.tar.gz.
Thanks for your time and so much more for LuaRocks and the great job
you've done with it,
Amireh
/PS: I must admit that this is the first time I _post_ to a mailing
list, so if I've missed some guidelines, please tell me about it before
killing me./
