How odd. It looks like you are trying to build from the master branch (which does not have generated files committed) rather than the release-v1 tag (which has install-sh, configure etc etc). However, I did leave my local Makefile in the branch, and forgot to add the dependency on (not yet released) stdlib-33 in the rockspec. I'll update and post fresh releases for both presently. In the meantime, if you have any insight as to why your machine can't find specl/build-aux/install-sh on the release branch, please let me know, so I can fix it before posting the next release.
