I notice rocks.moonscript.org is still serving lpeg-0.12.1-1 for
luarocks-5.3 install lpeg
But it is not compatible with Lua 5.3.0(rc1) :-(
Roberto recently uploaded lpeg-0.12.1.tar.gz, to fix that problem :-)
Ofcourse, I don't own the official lpeg rock, so my update went to
my personal manifest:
$ luarocks upload lpeg-0.12.1-1.rockspec
/Users/gary/.luarocks/upload_config.lua
Warning: Your LuaRocks is out of date, consider upgrading.
Sending lpeg-0.12.1-1.rockspec ...
Will create new module (LPeg)
Packing LPeg
adding: lpeg-0.12.1-1.rockspec (deflated 45%)

If no-one else is maintaining the root manifest lpeg rock, I'd be
happy to take it over if you want to assign it to me?

Is the out of date warning from my luarocks correct? I can't find a
newer version that what I'm running:
$ luarocks-5.3 --version
/usr/local/bin/luarocks 2.2.0
LuaRocks main command-line interface
