Because if you had done _any_ _research_ (like using Google and then
reading the Wikipedia article on LuaTeX) you would know that your
"thought" is wrong.
That was my understanding of reading, for instance, the wiki page. If
it's a collection of macros for simplifying life with TeX, then it would
"translate" to TeX what I write.
