It appears to be the same kernel with additional fixes applied. ftp://videl.ics.hawaii.edu/mirrors/mandrake/Mandrake-devel/cooker/i586/Mandr ake/RPMS/kernel-2.4.18.13mdk-1-1mdk.i586.rpm Download the file and use "rpm -ivh packagename.rpm" to install it. Always use INSTALL and not UPGRADE when installing binary kernel RPM packages so that it keeps your old kernel version installed too. You can then choose either kernel from your GRUB or LILO boot menu. This is a safety measure so that you can always go back to the old kernel if the new one is completely broken. If you are using GRUB, then rpm -ivh should automatically add the new kernel to your boot menu. If you are using LILO, it may require manual editing of /etc/lilo.conf and reinstallation of LILO.
