It doesn't matter if the schools use the equipment for the required
curriculum.  A computer lab open to students and the public would be fine.
An org could even cannibalize the donated equipment to upgrade their
systems.

The custodian would sign over the equipment to an official nonprofit org
that states they will use the equipment for educational uses.
