This is a very BOLD move.  The link is in Chinese which oftentimes is 
very difficult to be connected.  But an extremely interesting 
development to say the least.

BTW, the Taiwan government yesterday announced a $1.1 billion USD 
"e-Taiwan" software project.  Most of the fundings will likely go to 
UNIX (now Linux) based projects.
