Seminar: Advanced Security with Linux Virtual Servers Date: Thursday, June 20th, 2002 Time: 5:30pm - 7:30pm Food: Sorry no food this time.
Location: Mid-Pacific Institute Chew Technology Center Click here for map and driving directions: http://www.mplug.org/phpwiki/index.php/MPIChewTechCenter At this seminar Warren Togami will be teaching about the capabilities and benefits of Linux Virtual Servers. With Linux vservers, you can create many security isolated server partitions within the same physical box. This is very a similar concept to IBM mainframes, except you can do it on cheap off-the-shelf parts. Security maintenance, server management and hardware savings can be substantial if you fully understand the key implication of vservers. For more information about Linux Virtual Servers please read through the documentation at this page: http://www.solucorp.qc.ca/miscprj/s_context.hc Please RSVP e-mail Warren Togami at [EMAIL PROTECTED] with subject "LINUX SEMINAR 12" if you plan on coming. Sorry there will be no food at this seminar. Warren Togami [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mid-Pacific Linux User's Group http://www.mplug.org University of Hawaii ICS Club http://www2.ics.hawaii.edu/~icsclub
