As I mentioned previously, Mandrake is having serious problems raising its desperately needed capital.
I am sure many in the so-called Linux community applaud(ed) Mandrake's decision to boycott UnitedLinux. But this decision seems to, at least perceptionally, have the effect of marginalizing the future of Mandrake as a viable competitor, at least in the eyes of potential investors and serious users. This is unfair and unjust, but a sad truth.
