Switched everything out, xpt the drive, got the latest kernel release for
that system, /opt and the entire first hard drive are gone, or at least
fdisk, fsck and nothing else see's it. I get I/O errors any time I try to cd
/opt. Can't mount /opt fails it can't find that partion mount -l shows all
the partitions on had, hdb is working fine even so it seems that like what
started it all.

I'll slap SuSE on it tom. I was just more curious as to what happened then
anything (this being the second time).

The longer I use linux the more things I encounter that make me feel like a
complete newbie. I think I've devoted too much time to network services and
constantly fighting with sendmail, and CFMX. I need to get back to the ummm
root of things.
