I did a search for 'computer linux' at the Sams Club site. Found these
software specs for a $280 computer. I would think it's a full blown Linux
installation. It includes OpenOffice, Mozilla, GIMP, and several other
Linux apps. Doesn't seem like a bad deal. No mention of Lindows or being
able to run Windows apps, which I would think to be a plus. ;)
