work, rather than intellectual type work. For instance, you don't
hear
lawyers or doctors hacking at anything. When someone use that term
for
doctors, it is usually meant in a derogatory manner. I.e. 'that
doctor
did a hack job on his patient.'
My hacker friends have oft described good doctors who didn't put on
too many airs as "hacker doctors".
