An urgent meeting about ... "something"? Please post the *topic* or *agenda* for the meeting ahead of time, so that we each have a chance to decide if it is something we as individuals want to treat as a priority, make time for, and discuss. Posting a clear and specific suggested meeting date and time (in UTC), and a suggested specific IRC channel, would also be helpful, instead of the rather vague "today" (did you mean 30 March 2012 UTC, in which case that "day" is already over, although it is still 30 March 2012 local time here in California as I type!) and "on IRC" :) So if you wrote something more like: I'd like us to meet on 30 March 2012 at 2300 UTC using IRC on irc://irc.freenode.net/lubuntu-offtopic to discuss a new strategy for marketing strawberry-flavoured Lubuntu candy to pre-teens in Western Europe, see http://example.com/strawberry for further background info. Should take <= 30 minutes. Please let me know if this date and time works for you. it would perhaps be clearer and more useful.
