Hi David,
I see you're already a member of the communications team so have used this
mailing list to stay relevant. Thanks for taking the time to reply to me and
tell me a little about yourself.
You can view a little bit about the communications team here -
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Lubuntu/CommunicationsTeam
As you can see we're involved in a lot of work mainly on the social media side
of things including Facebook pages, groups, Twitter accounts, G+ accounts and
various other initiatives I plan to implement over the coming weeks. In order
for these to operate smoothly I will be looking for more members to get
involved with the various accounts as well as recruiting new members.
I believe you can carry out what's needed with no problem, if you'd like to get
involved please feel free to let me know. Of course have a read of the above
link and have a look at the various sub sections. You could even join
https://www.facebook.com/groups/lubuntu.official/ and see what we're doing as
well as liking the public Facebook page to see what we're doing
https://www.facebook.com/Lubuntu.Official.Page.

Best Regards,

      Good evening Everyone,

Just thought I'd take a moment to
introduce myself. I've taken over from Ali as the new team
leader of lubuntu-communications. I'm well experienced in
Linux (both server and desktop) especially Ubuntu based
distributions. I'm also experienced in social media, marketing
and advertising and will try my best to drive new users and
Linux enthusiasts into the 'realm' of Lubuntu. Over the coming
weeks I'll be looking at the WOW Lubuntu project to see how it
can be utilised, the G+ page as well as the Twitter page and
implementing some of my own ideas.

I'm looking forward to meeting, getting to
know the team as well as having the opportunity for us to
share ideas with each other on what we can do to advance and
improve lubuntu-communcations. Other avenues we can explore in
          regards to promoting Lubuntu,
supporting new users and generally improving our image towards
the general public and exposure. I want to get team members
more involved, you should be proud of what you've achieved so
far but the battle never ends!

We really are the face of and fundamentally ambassadors of
Lubuntu. Social media is key, in an ever changing world it's
          important that we keep up.

I hope team members are as happy as I am to be here and look
forward to a happy, productive and prosperous future for not
only the lubuntu-comms team but Lubuntu in general.

        I also
look forward to collaborating with other teams within
                Lubuntu.

          Best Regards,

    Hello and congrats Kristopher

Thanks for introducing yourself, giving a little background and
stating a team vision for the future. I'd like to take a sentence
or two and tell you a little bit about me so that you can better
assess task assignments. My background lies in the biological
sciences( no computer/technology formal education), I am new to
Linux and Ubuntu( I have used Ubuntu for about 18 months now). So I
will probably be your least Linux experienced team member---sorry,
ha. Nevertheless, I am committed and excited to contribute to both
the Comms and Support Teams in the best way the Lubuntu members deem
    best.

I do have a good deal of experience with social media, information
analysis and distribution related to my prior community service
organization membership. I have crossed posted to both the Comms
and Support Teams as I am a member of both. I believe that we can
use social media to expand and maximize our outreach to potential
    Lubuntu users.

    Best Regards,

    David Yentzen
