And, I'm very glad that someone is interested to discuss more about
StartUbuntu :D

I’m actually NOT a Lubuntu *user,* although I am a (not yet registered)

Doesn't matter what 'you have chosen' to use, what does matter is you are
using Linux and it happens that Linux System is either Ubuntu or one of its
official variants :D

One or two members from each flavor to join StartUbuntu is MORE than enough
:)
Because, this 1 or those 2 members will communicate with their team and
make life easier for everyone.

Well said.

I have previously sent an massive email to each and every list :P
Many were interested but, as always, so many interested people, so few or
none who actually participate and do something. It seems that a reminder
needs to be sent to each list separately.

If someone has less than 1GB RAM >> Lubuntu
If someone has 1-2 GB RAM >> Xubuntu
If someone has more than 2GB RAM >> Ubuntu, Ubuntu GNOME and Kubuntu

With these options, we covered all types of DEs (LXDE, XFCE, Unity, GNOME
and KDE).

Both Ubuntu Studio and Edubuntu are specific flavors for specific usages.

HUGE +1
That exactly what I was trying to explain on my previous email.

When I sent that massive email about StartUbuntu months ago, almost
everyone asked me WHY it is under Lubuntu Communications Team and NOT a
general team for example? this will confuse people and they may think it is
Lubuntu Specific project. Not to mention, the Wiki Page itself lives under
Lubuntu Wiki :)

I am very much willing to move the Wiki Page to a more general area. But, I
will not do that unless I get enough votes to create a new team on
Launchpad for StartUbuntu.

On that note, I end my rant. Feel free to build or detract as you so wish,

Thank you for sharing your thoughts and opinion. Much appreciated :)
