I do have some friend who works for Canonical and other with Ubuntu
Membership but I guess those who work with Canonical could have the upper
hand. However, not sure who can help in this very specific issue!

I know Nicholas Skaggs.

Perhaps there is a mailing list or IRC channel or a sub-forum for these
kinds of issues? not really sure.
