Jens, Nio is the driving force behind a set of community re-spins via https://help.ubuntu.com/community/OBI He does actively have lubuntu ones and is ahead of me in getting a non-pae release out (although he does use the kernel I built :P )
He is a ubuntu forum moderator ( http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2172971 ) and an all round 'good' guy. You will find several of them lurking, but doing what they enjoy :) Oh, and to give you head ache, his area of ISO's is also held on my server at http://phillw.net/isos/one-button-installer/ which he looks after... :P Maybe you would like to round up all the community lubuntu re-spins into one area?
