Hi, On my laptop, guvcview uses more RAM than cheese but it costs less CPU when I record video: guvcview: RAM ~50MB, CPU ~10% cheese: RAM ~33MB, CPU ~25% All for 1 minute recording.
But guvcview is great, everything works fine, my video is slow and jerky when I record with cheese.
