You can ask packagekit people about those issues, maybe there is a way
to solve them.
As long as aptdaemon is maintained, you can keep it. Maybe you can for
now add an option to use packagekit instead of aptdeamon in the
preference ? It could be use for testing purpose until pakagekit support
is better.
