Hi everybody, i'm trying xcompmgr on my Lxde desktop, and it's very nice! It uses few RAM (2,5 mb on my 64 bit system) and can provide cool fade-in/out effects for menus and windows.
I've tried this configuration: xcompmgr -cfC -D 5 then i removed the "Show animation during maximize or minimize" in openbox configuration manager. the result is simple but cool and can help to remove the Win XP effect that lxde produce (somebody think, IMO lxde is the best gtk DE ever!). Please think about the possibility to include xcompmgr by default in lubuntu.
