I don't think this is a good idea to Lubuntu. I have a netbook, and when > NumLock is on, I "lose" the *J,K,L,U,I,O,P *letters. Well, on my HP Pavilion DV6, I don't even have Num-Lock. Got another Laptop at home (Toshiba) and same applies to it. Also, we do have Netbook (Samsung 150N Plus) and there is no Num-Lock at all :) What Netbook do you have? Thanks!
