When you get a DNS server failure, check to see that popular websites like
Google.com and Yahoo.com load. If they don't load either, then the problem
is probably on your end.

You can always experiment by changing your Primary and Secondary DNS from
"automatic" to either Google's DNS (8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4) or OpenDNS
(208.67.220.220,208.67.222.222) and seeing if they work.

I use OpenDNS and am very happy with the speed and reliability of it. It's
free. (Google is free, too.)
