Hi,

I use lubuntu (I prefer and test the alternate iso) as you state, it is a
great base for running virtual machines on and that is what i do for
testing. It may be of interest to others that as part of the quality
classroom sessions, we are covering various methods of using the different
virtual machines[1]. As the Alternate includes tasksel it is also very easy
to install a LAM server etc. Lubuntu is a lean system and leaves more
resources free to do these other tasks :)
