Thanks, I didn't know that Ubuntu had its own key server. I waited over night and tried a regular update again but get the same error. Then I tried loading the key explicitly, that reduced the amount of errors. I'm wondering what happened to the machine to begin with. It's running Saucy beta with recent updates but has been freezing a lot including in the middle of adding packages. I can't get it to freeze on demand but adding packages, plugging in a USB device and shutting down seem to have a high risk of freeze. Since it's a test machine, I guess I'll have to clear it again.
