Thanks again for the reply, I have a shot of it, which I sent to wxl . . .
busy . . . imagine in your mind's eye if you will, the OSX installer . . .
so the big "X" superimposed on the screen, the "to-do" list on the left . .
. and the words "*There were errors installing the software*" in large bold
letters . . . then, in smaller, unbold letters . . . "Please try installing
again" . . . with the blue "restart" lozenge in the lower right . . . .

I've gotten this message I believe three times . . . once, then, taking the
advice to "try installing again" and getting the same message . . . then
again yesterday . . . but, much faster than the other two times . . . . .
