Thanks for the diverse opinions. The problem remains unsolved though. If I find
anything new I'll let you know.

The problem with the aforementioned 'solution' is that I figure that the
keyboard layout changed after a couple of typos. It is annoying to correct them
everytime then manually switch keyboards. It took me a lot of nuisance to go
over the 'two click' barrier and share this problem with you.

My system language is EN-US and my keyboard is PT-BR-ABNT2.
