Folks: Just wanted to report a positive finding for PPC users as it seems like some adjustment has been made to apt update repo list so that there aren't the errors that were showing up even a few weeks back, making upgrades "incomplete."
I ran apt update/upgrade in my G4 iBook a couple days back and it came up error free in "update" of my Lu 16.04 install . . . it seems like the repo list is shorter and that might explain the lack of errors, but the system was able to upgrade "70 packages" . . . so seems like something happened to help out the decommissioned PPC experience, support for the unsupported, etc??? F
