I tried posting a snapshot release a week ago, but SourceForge's release
process was broken. Then I went on vacation for a week. Now I'm back, and
SourceForge's release process is fixed, so I re-posted the release.
Can folks please check to make sure that it's not majorly broken?
FYI, I used 'make' rather than 'ant' since I was in a hurry and build.xml
does not yet appear to have a target equivalent to 'make release', that
bundles the sources, docs, demo and binaries together, and the makeRelease
script uses 'make'. Probably an ant target should be added to replace this
script...
