Also note that, if a thread crashes with an unhandled exception, this would
kill the app.
using {{<legacyUnhandledExceptionPolicy enabled="1"/>}} in app.config or
attaching to the event {{AppDomain.CurrentDomain.UnhandledException}} may be
a solution.
