Looking for Synonym Functions

HI All...
I've recently started integrating dotLucene into my ecommerce app.
So far I have kStemmer working and that is great, but I also need to use
synonym (alias) words.
 
I have seen from other examples that there is some synonym support in java,
but I think I'm stuck in .net.
 
Can anyone point me in the direction of something that is already out there
to allow me to use synonyms?
