Full re-implementation, heavily inspired by both projects. Existing
code has to go through the Apache incubator so we have to write
everything from scratch. Also, we'll be taking quite a different
approach, at least to the way I built Ferret. Ferret is now 100%
c-code. Lucy on the other hand will aim to build as much as we can in
Ruby and Perl making it much more customizable (if a touch slower).
