Hi all An Update on the Website progress so far:
Kiggundu of Kym.net and Ernest of Afrinic have offered to host the site. So its upto us to decide. Sematimba has proposed that we have the list operate the slashdot way with the ability to make online posts and comments on topical issues. Henry suggests the list discussions would appear under a special secton called forums then they would be lots of news items - prefferably local lug related stuff, links to sites/articles that higlight on the pro linux crusade would be nice plus dont forget a newbies section - tutorials and articles to get pples toes into linux waters Any comments on this so far? I would also love to hear from every one their preferences so that we can begin something however basic. We can look at contributing to its progress over time. I also propose that we get volunteers that would like to design the site too on behalf of the community.
