great. i have contacts with the open source centres in south africa - just 
in case you want to contact them too.

why would that surprise you? ug is more advanced in it/internet than many 
of its african 'peers' :) naturally, you would expect such fora then.

not sure how many ladies are on lug though.. on the other hand, this list 
has very busy people.. i hope you will not be dissapointed with collecting 
info.. besides, am sure everybody here is security conscious :)

not sure.. is the list not available for viewing by the list members?

cant promise that personally :) that depends on how lenghthy and wordy the 
question(aires) are. am sure you will get some people though.
