Audi is using a Linux cluster to simulate components for its new Space Frame chassis which will be used in future car models.
The manufacturer explained that the cluster from Linux Networx, running Magma's modelling software, means that simulations take two days compared to two weeks using the company's older Risc-based Unix system...
