at least, HP have started making Linux Laptops. The first was the Compaq nx5000 that ships with Novell Inc.'s SUSE Linux 9.1 Pro. You can 'build' your laptop on hp's site by selecting the OS - either Windoze or Linux, or both :) ernest.
