mr. ernest you are right when you say linus gets to approve what goes into the linux kernel as a patch or other. word has it that he and a core of kernel developers have access to something called the cvs; some open source development management utility they use for their kernel work . you could submit a patch, even a kernel re-write but it is reviewed by those guys afore mentioned before it goes mainstream. just curious, are there any guys here who read or tweak kernel source code? this guy( code newbie) would be interested in what you guys find.
