Personally am not moved or shaken by the fact the UTL has decided to come out 
and say they have launched hotspots ,  hotspots have been around for about 
2-3years IN UG, this reminds me of a thread someone started here on Publicom 
phones and there use of solar power IIRC some  didn't know that but thats how 
they had been running for a couple of years( correct me if i am wrong , i 
don't remember the thread very well) , so this is some what the same 
situation, technology being available but not exposed. 
 
So for the security conscience am sure you will enjoy playing around with the 
wireless hotspots , i don't doubt UTL's competence... this actually reminds 
me of how Nextel dropped there  Broadband service designed for business 
travellers  a.k.a hotspots , hit the market pretty hard i hope we shall see 
the same trend in uganda and probably expose  the technology more to the 
masses.   Otherwise  a big round of applause ...
