Still in relation to electricity, one of the biggest
problems BPL (Broadband over Power Lines) has is the
interference it causes to radio operations, including
ATC (Air Traffic Control), AM broadcast radio, ham
radio, HF maritime radio, HF aircraft frequencies, RFDS,
police HF radio networks and various other HF radio
users and emergency services.

This would get worse as the bandwidth is increased on the
power lines.
