The PSN will have its first activity focusing on the Uganda Internet
exchange Point. As you may already be aware the UIXP has been around for
sometime now and we would now like to review its presence.
The key speaker on the UIXP will be Mr. Badru Ntege, One2net who is very
knowledgeable on this subject and was also one of the first people
involved in the implementation of the UIXP. Most Internet Service
Providers are linked to the UIXP and are already benefiting from its
presence.

The Multi-stakeholder discussion panel will be hosted at Speke Hotel
November 10,2005 hall, time will be 2:00pm to 5:00pm.
An initiative to register ICT experts in various desciplines will also
initiate its collection of Data at this event. This initiative is aimed at
building a database of ICT experts who will eventually contribute to
setting standards in especially the various private sector companies.
Places left are limited and you have to register to be able to attend this
event.
