Hi Guys

Its long since I last handled Remote Dial-in Access modems. A client of
mine is in need of a modem bank of 8 modems. Can any one help point me to
the leading modem brands lately and what you think is best for Ugandan
telco dial-in links?

thanks

Wire James

Must admit modems have taken the back seat lately. However last i checked and tried. US Robotics seemed the "most intelligent" brand. Also lookout for and avoid the USB Powered types that are common on the market. They can be a nightmare  when you have no USB power source on site.

Regards,
Mark.
