Hi All As we prepare for the UCC public forum slated for tomorrow I thought it would be good to try and put in perspective the new environment as proposed.
The two tiers of infrastructure and service provider mean that all new service providers on the market would have to go through one of the groups shown here to reach the market. This then means that for the martket to prosper and new opportunities to be created UCC would have to create what I call clear rules of engagement between the service providers and the infrastructure providers. In the absence of this we would waste a landmark opportunity for the creation of an empowered ICT community which is capable of creating wealth and opportunities for the masses and not the few. I do believe we need to task the regulater to make sure that this happens which means that we need to make time and be present at the public forums. I urge you all to make the time.
