Yes. For a long time those boxes were the work-horse of the 
Internet, until the 7200's came along :-).

In fact, most telco's that got into IP (either for data or VoIP) 
use(d) 7500's, regardless of when they came into the game (must be 
a telco thing).

There have been lots of issues with this platform, but one thing 
holds - if you are not needy on IOS upgrades, it was a very stable 
box, often with sentiment :-).

Migration path now is either the 7200-VXR, 7600/6500, GSR or CRS-1 
(depending on what you do with your packets, of course).
