But Wire, I thought these Huawei CDMA phones that are all over the place
are pure 3G. Then again, this 3G of ours means that your equipment is
provided by the Telco.

Still, these things are not necessarily mass market. They tend to target
those few people who go to these hot-spots. N-series, I-pod & I-phone tend
to be gadgets "to be seen with" on the larger part.
The products that target the lower market segments are what make money for
Nokia et al.
