Dear lug, I have a couple of excel spreadsheets on a samba share that have read and write permissions set for owner and group. These are accessed by teachers to input assessment records.
Problem is, someone keeps deleting them and I keep having to restore them from backup. I know it's someone because they are the only files that keep disappearing. Is there a way of allowing users to read and write to the file without being able to delete it? Or even better, log every file deletion per user?
